RETAIL THEFT

59  N QUEEN ST

OCCURRED 1/14/16 1039HRS

John Shirey, 42 of the 200 blk S Prince St, Lancaster PA arrested and cited with Retail Theft after concealing several items in his coat pocket and attempting to leave store without paying for the items.

200 BLK W WALNUT ST

OCCURRED 1/13/16 2100HRS – 1/14/16 1300HRS

Victim reported that between the listed times and dates unknown person(s) stole the license plate from her 2006 Silver Hyundai that was parked at her residence.

 

AUTO THEFT

700 BLK S FRANKLIN ST

OCCURRED BETWEEN 1/14/2016 2300 HRS AND 1/15/2016 0500 HRS

A 1998 black Ford F250 pick up was stolen from the back yard of victim’s residence.

200 BLK RUBY ST

OCCURRED 1/15/2016 0817 HRS

Victim reported that she believes that a suspect known to her took money and other items from her vehicle.

900 MANOR ST

OCCURRED 1/13/2016 1300 HRS

An unknown suspect stole the victim’s black bicycle while the victim was in the bank. The bicycle was secured with a lock at the time of the incident.

100 BLK N MARSHALL ST

OCCURRED BETWEEN 1/14/2016 2100 HRS AND 1/15/2016 1000 HRS

Unknown suspect gained entry to a garage at the location and stole expandable wooden painting rods and a metal tool box containing miscellaneous hand tools. 

 

SHOTS FIRED

500 BLK S CHRISTIAN ST

OCCURRED 1/15/2016 BETWEEN 1747 HRS AND 1811 HRS

The reporting person stated that while walking north on S Christian St he observed three Hispanic males approximately 20 years of age. One of the males grabbed the other and appeared to be trying to rob him. Witness then heard gunshots and two of the three males fled toward Duke St. Unable to locate any suspects or victim. 

               

ROBBERY

100 S QUEEN ST

OCCURRED 1/15/2016 1900 HRS

Victim stated that while he was walking in the 100 block S Queen St close to W Vine St he was attacked from behind by 5-6 black males from. The males began striking him, knocking him to the ground, and took cash and cell phone from victim's pants pocket. The group then fled on foot.

300 BLK S MARSHALL ST

OCCURRED 1/15/2016 2048 HRS

Victim reported he hired a Hispanic male to fix his vehicle. Victim brought the vehicle to be repaired and paid for repairs, but the vehicle was not returned to victim. Victim tried to make contact with suspect but was not able to. Ongoing investigation.

1ST BLK E FARNUM ST

OCCURRED 1/16/2016 1016 HRS

Victim reported that she had placed her black purse in the laundry room and left briefly. Upn returning, she noticed that her purse and wallet had been taken.  

 

BURGLARY

100 BLK S PRINCE ST

OCCURRED 1/16/2116    BETWEEN 1100 HRS AND 1400  HRS

Unknown suspect(s) entered unlocked residence at location and stole two cell phones, a blue tooth wireless talking device, a gold necklace, cash.  

 

RETAIL THEFT

400 PARK CITY CENTER

OCCURRED 1/16/2016 1154 HRS

Luz D. Rivera, 52-year-old female, resident of 200 blk. N. Lime St., Lancaster, was observed selecting various articles of clothing and jewelry from display and then entering a fitting room. Rivera only returned two items, placed the rest underneath her clothing and attempted to leave the store without paying for them. Rivera was arrested and charged with Retail Theft.

 

ROBBERY

1ST BLK W WALNUT ST

OCCURRED 1/17/2016 BETWEEN 2400 HRS AND 0015 HRS

Victim was walking on W Walnut St when an unknown light skinned male about 5’9” tall, thin build, wearing a black knit hat reached out and grabbed the strap of her handbag trying to steal it.  Another female yelled at him and he released it and fled North on North Market St towards W Lemon. 

 

RETAIL THEFT

400 PARK CITY CENTER / J C PENNEYS

OCCURRED 1/17/2016 1622 HRS

A 14-year-old female was observed removing one pair of Nike sandals and concealing them into a shopping bag that she was carrying. Juvenile exited the store without paying for sandals. Juvenile was arrested and charged with Retail Theft.
